Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
I only played 5 games. In the beginning, when I believed I’d play 10 games, it was to be an All-American, but once I realized I’d only play 5, it was just be the best piece to fit in and help my team.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Fast, Elusive, GUMP.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I plan to travel to Montana and train in facility called The Pitt with trainer Sean. He will help me apply all the techniques I need to work on for 8 weeks straight twice a day.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
As a Receiver, I focus on the Safety’s and Defensive Back’s first steps and how often the Coordinator likes to disguise his coverages by rolling the Safeties or leverage as well as tendencies.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
At my position, I separate myself with my speed of all things, but my knowledge of the game as well. I understand how to use my speed to beat zones or man coverages week to week.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My ability to be poised in big time situations as well as make the play that needs to be made, whether it be the big block, catch, run, or even support my teammate in a big moment, I’m there. Accountability.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’ve learned five different offenses in 5 years to the way each Coordinators wanted there plays ran. If given the opportunity, I’ll run the fastest forty the draft has ever seen. If not, I’ll bring the most elite speed any league has seen.
