Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My main goals were to play my best college season ever and to be a prefect tackler throughout the whole season.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Physical, old school thumper, smart player.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I already started training and I’m working on my explosiveness for my get off on the 40yd dash and my flexibility.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I’m studying film, I focus on the personnel, what formation is the opponent more successful in, and who is their main target.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from the other players is my long arms to get off blocks and my knowledge for the game. I am fast reader and I can stop a play before it developed by how fast I get my read from the Lineman.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths and abilities I will bring is my hard work and study for the game I have. I believe that leading by example will bring the best out of people around you. I like to be the alpha of the defense, so I’m not taking any breaks. I am true a competitor and I like to carry the load for my teammates.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I know coming from a D2 HBCU, I have little room for error and the competition is not the same as a D1 program, but I have the biggest chip on my shoulder to show people that I am destined for this. If any team willing to pick me up, God willing, they are going to get a sleeping giant ready to be woken up.
