Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals going into my final season were to be a leader on and off the field, be All-Conference, be All-American, and stay healthy.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Technician, smart, aggressive.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training at Ollin Athletics and Sports Medicine in Houston, Texas to perfect my craft.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I study film of my opponents, I study the defense they run, the personnel they have, twist and stunts they run, and the top 3 or 4 blitzes they run and how they run them. I try to find tips to know what’s coming pre snap. I study the players I’ll be facing and find tips that they may give away. I also study the way they play run and what I might get on pass plays.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from other players is I work extremely hard everyday to perfect my craft and I also can play all 5 positions on the Offensive Line.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Being able to play all 5 positions on the Offensive Line will be something that I will bring to a NFL team. Being a leader on and off the field will stand out. My hard work and determination will stand out on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Can’t pass up an Offensive Linemen that can play all 5 positions and one that works as hard as I will!
