Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals for my Senior season were to break a record, lead my team in the best way I know how, and to play well enough that I’m able to continue my career.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
My style of play, aggressive, relentless, and smooth.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I focus on Corners and Safeties and which one rotates down the most along with pre snap alignment, so I know which hole to sit in if they are in a zone defense. I also study the Corner and his hips along with his ability to play the ball in the air.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
The thing that separates me the most I feel is my aggressiveness and ability to go snatch the ball out of the air away from the Defensive Back. Also, my ability to create separation from the Defensive Back out of my break.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My ability to run routes and read a defense as the play is developing is very good. Having strong hands in traffic is something that I do very well. I also am very strong in leading a team and making sure my guys stick together. Off the field, I know what to do and how to keep myself in positive situations.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch to pro scouts would be that I can be a big play threat at any time and also not a liability or someone you would have to worry about off the field. I show up everyday on time and ready to work. I’ll give 100% every day and I will bring a positive energy to the team on a daily basis.
