Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals heading into my final season were to be a leader on the defensive side of the ball and to do whatever was required of me in order to make the team better.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
I would describe my style of play in three words to be athletic, aggressive, and disciplined.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
During this offseason, to prepare for the draft or other pro opportunities, I have been training as if I am an underdog. I will continue training to increase my speed and strength. Small school players tend to get overlooked.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I study film, I like to focus on the other team’s tendencies, formations, and different keys to try and pre-determine the play before the ball is snapped.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My football IQ, work ethic, and being a versatile player are a couple of examples that separate me from other people that play my position.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Some strengths and abilities that I have to bring to a team that will stand out on the field are being able to switch and play different positions, as well as be a player who will rush the passer and drop in coverage. Some examples of how I will stand out off of the field are being a positive impact on the community and a role model for the youth.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I will come in from day one and be willing to learn whatever system I am in, in order to make the team the best it can be. I am willing to do whatever is required of me to ensure that the team I am with is at its maximum potential.
