Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I set a goal to change the culture in a program that was winless the season prior to my arrival. I always aspire to be national champions and although we fell short, I was still able to play a pivotal role in the wins we produced this year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my team and coaches can all agree that I am an absolute leader on and off the field, and a pure dog! The kind of guy that will lay it all on the line for his brothers.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film, I watch all the plays that make me want to hide under my chair. The INTs, missed reads, and missed throws. Those are the things I use to get better and figure out what to work on that day in practice.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Nobody at my position in this draft class will outwork me. Nobody ever has. I’ve always been a workhorse and never satisfied because I want to be the greatest I can be. I don’t care what level of competition I’m playing I want to be the best guy on the field at all times.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I’ll be changing my diet a bit to cut my body fat down and do a ton of mobility and flexibility work so I can be more durable to last a longer season.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths would be my work ethic, leadership, and ability to control the game. My level of competitiveness and relentlessness allows me to stay above water and keep the guys around me afloat. That’s a big part of being the guy.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Honestly my only pitch is to turn on the film. I’m proud to be a “small-school” guy because I’m going to make it farther than a lot of guys who win the political game. I’m an absolute baller and that’s what matters, productivity, wins and losses. That’s how you keep a job. If you want a dominant leader to compete for your organization, you’ll give me the opportunity!
