Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Headed into my senior season, I wanted to be the best at my position. More importantly, I wanted to see my team win and wanted to do whatever it took for that to happen.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Fast, Physical, Smart.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Right now I’m training for my pro day, and everyday I try to give it my all because I know this could be my last time ever playing the game I love. So I try to attack everyday.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Playing DB, I like to spot the top formations and route combinations giving the down and distance. Then from there I look at Receiver tendencies and how they like to run certain routes. Also, the QB’s tendencies and arm strength. Lastly, I want to see the style of Running Back and if the O-Line gives away any run pass tendencies.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I believe the biggest thing is versatility. I can play both Safety and Corner. I have the size, speed, and skill necessary to get the job done at either position at a high level. I can even line up in the box at times and get the job done where most DBs can’t.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I would bring a team first mentality and with that I would be doing anything I’m needed to do for the success of the team. It will never be about me, but the betterment of the whole.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I would just like to say to any team who is looking for a hard working, disciplined, self-driven player I’m your guy. All I need is an opportunity and I’m sure to make the most of it. I will give it my all and then some. God speed.
