What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal was to come into Mount Union and help contribute anyway possible. My other goal was to compete for a National Championship although we came up a little bit short, me and my brothers fought hard.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I believe that I took advantage well. I just took advantage of every opportunity that was given to me to showcase my talent on film.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think my teammates and coaches would say I’m a very humble player. A person who comes to work everyday and wants to get better.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film I focus on the little details of my opponents like which hand does he normally strike with first and if he is an aggressive corner or a patient corner.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I would say my size and the ability to use my size separates me from other prospects in my position. When I first started I never understood how to use my body but I think I have improved a lot when it comes to using my size as an advantage by being able to block Db’s and use my body to get between them and the ball.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m training in Davie at System 8.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I feel like the strength I bring is someone who is not looking for a handout and knows how to start at the bottom and work their way to the top to earn reps. And off the field I’m a person who really just stays to themselves and likes to help out in the community or just get in extra work to improve my game and to help the team.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch would be that I understand what it means to come to work and have to prove myself everyday. Always work to be better than the day before. Whichever team gives me an opportunity I will take full advantage of it.
