Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to be the best player and person I could be on and off the field in order to lead my team to a successful season
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I lead by example, play hard and do everything I can to win.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I am studying an opponent offence, I focus on their formations and tendencies. If I am studying players I will be going up against, I will look for their tendencies as well such as their difference in stances between run and pass and what pass rush moves they have been beat by, etc.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am a versatile player, have a good motor, play fast and physical and do anything in my power to win.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to continue to train at my team’s facility, improve mobility and maintain a clean well-balanced diet.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Something that will stand out about myself on the field is my ability to be a great team player. I am relentless, play to the whistle and can play both the pass and the run. Off the field, I am accountable for my actions, hard working in the weight room and in the film room. I also present great character and respect to those around me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the CFL or any other pro leagues?
To those willing to take a chance on me, you will get nothing short of a hardworking, accountable and respectful individual. I will show up to work every day with the same positive attitude and ready to elevate myself to new heights. I am very coachable and not afraid to put myself in a situation that will test my mental/physical abilities.
