Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Going into my senior season, the goal was to help my team out in every way possible. Also had the opportunity to become the programs all time leading scorer through this season and was success in doing so.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would tell you I will work hard until I get it perfect. Whether it’s my technique or trick plays we may insert on special teams, I will do everything in my power to do my part so my teammates can finish the job for me.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Studying film for a specialist is kind of a difficult task. Instead of watching film, I go to the field early with other specialists at LWC and we help each other perfect our craft. To me having a teammate watching what I’m doing is more beneficial then going to watch film because I can turn around and fix it right that second.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects at my position is I’m willing to go toe to toe with whoever it is whenever needed. I also played linebacker and safety in high school so if I need to make a tackle you can count on me to make it.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan usually involves working on my flexibility and techniques that I can adjust to make myself more accurate. Strengthening my lower body is important but To me my flexibility is the most important aspect of my game.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Growing up I always had a love for the game. Some kickers get a vibe of not understanding the game of football but that is not my case. On the field my teammates will tell you I’m in toon to the game and keeping the sidelines locked in. A key factor to success is to make sure all parts are moving together on and off the field, I believe if I can keep my teammates who may not be ready to play on the big stage yet stay involved so we can grow not only as players but as men.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any organization that’s wants to give me a chance is I won’t disappoint. I’ve been doubted before and proved everyone wrong with my success on the field. LWC blessed me 4 years ago believing in me and giving me a chance to show the country that it doesn’t matter what level you end up, it’s about whose fighting inside to make it to the top.
