Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As a grad transfer my immediate goal was to come in and help make an impact on the team which I like to think I did considering I ended up starting. I was striving for All Conference honors but I ended up missing a couple games due to an injury which hurt my chances.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

That I have a high football IQ, a great work ethic, and I was extremely coachable. That I was striving to get better every day and that these attributes helped me do that.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I would focus on punching with inside hands, keeping my head/ shoulders back, and keeping my feet moving. If I didn’t do one of those things I would make an effort to emphasize doing it the next day in practice.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Since I haven’t been playing in offensive line as long as a lot of my peers I would say that I have more room for growth as a player and that I haven’t even begun to reach my full potential.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My main emphasis in training right now is to increase my athleticism, technique as an offensive lineman, and overall strength. My goals for my pro day are to run a sub 5.3 forty and get over 35 reps on the bench press.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would say my rock solid presence both on the field and as a teammate. I’ve been told I make everyone around me compete to the best of their ability, thus bettering the team. In terms of physical ability I have quick feet in the pass game and I’m stout in the run game.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I have a great work ethic, but it takes more than that to make it to the next level. That’s just a prerequisite. I have the mentality to back it up. I’m a junkyard dog who’s had to fight just to make it this far, and I plan on bringing that intensity to the pros.
