What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My biggest goal was to be a better leader and show the younger guys what it takes to be successful. Never taking shortcuts and always going hard at all times. Also a goal was to be better than what I was last year. The goals I set were more team based than personal but I was able to accomplish them.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I feel like this extra year gave me an opportunity to become a better DB. Coming from wideout I had a lot of learning and adjusting to do. I felt more confident & comfortable in the position this year cause I had a few seasons under my belt. Being able to play free & faster was a huge advantage because I didn’t have to think as much.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would definitely say I’m a team player. I’m willing to do whatever I need to do to help the team win. I came in as a wideout but the team needed help on the backend so I was willing to switch to DB.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I’m looking for everything I did wrong. Did I make the wrong read? Did I stick on the wrong foot? Was my pad level low enough? It’s all about me seeing what I did wrong so I can improve on it the next time I’m in that situation.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m a physical, long, instinctive corner. I play the game fast and I cover well. Im able to play in the run game also. You can put me at any position in the secondary and I’ll make plays.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I played in the FCS bowl in Daytona and this week coming up, I’ll play in the FBS tropical bowl. After this last game I plan to find a draft prep program to workout with and be the best version of myself when pro day comes around.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On and off the field I am a leader. Never been in any type of trouble and I’m willing to go the extra mile to help others. Like I said before I’m a willing to do whatever to help the team win so whatever position or role a coach puts me in I’m going to do it to the best of my ability.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you give a player like me a chance not only are you getting a good football player but behind that you will get a great leader, a hard worker, & someone who’s going to take advantage of every opportunity.
