Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the biggest goals was trying to get my team to the conference championship. Year after year we dedicate the work we do in the offseason to get to that game. Coach Albin did a great job at making sure we were focused on getting better each day. Another personal goal was making the all conference team. I was really happy with myself for making 3rd team but I’m grateful for the recognition because it shows I still made an impact.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A player that’s as smart as they come and also as tough as they come. Not the most athletic or have the most strength but when it comes time to strap on that helmet they knew I was bought in 100%.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Some of the things that I could improve on is my man coverage ability and separating the receiver from the ball. Also, creating turnovers such as force fumbles, this is something that can change the game so I want to be able to improve that ability in my game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

We all have a unique set of skills that’s why we all are here, and each player is different from the other but I think my Football IQ and my range is something that can set me apart from the other players in my position.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be accepting any invitations to workouts with a team, and I will be working with my strength and conditioning coach at Ohio, while also work speed training with Eric Lichter at Plus 2 university in Columbus.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One of the biggest strengths is leading by example being a player that does the right even when their are people that aren’t watching. It’s important for your organization to know that they can trust you on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I just need an opportunity to showcase my abilities and wanting to learn more and more each day to increase my football IQ to help me become a better player.
