Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals at the beginning of the season were to win conference and win a national championship. Sadly our season ended in the 3rd round of the playoffs so I didn’t get to accomplish my 2nd goal. But in the bigger picture I was able to accomplish a lot.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am a team player who always puts my team first. A great leader on and off the field that loves to see my teammates succeed even more than myself.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I’m studying film a lot, every single day. It depends on what I’m looking for. When I’m watching film on my myself I look at my weaknesses in my game so I can work on improving them. When I’m scouting an opponent, I look at everything like the formations they are in, differences between their stances in a run play or pass play. There’s many things I look for when studying film to help me on Saturdays.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My high motor, versatility, my heart and determination to be great. I’m never satisfied with nothing, especially in a game. I can have 4 sacks for that day, I will still line up and get off of the ball like it’s the first play. I don’t stop until the clock hits 0:00.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for this offseason to get bigger while getting faster and to block out any noise or distractions. These next few months are the most important time of my life, so I will train like it.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Whichever organization gives me a chance will get a hardworking and willing player ready to learn what it takes to make us better. They will have a player who can rush the passer and knows how to get to the QB no matter what. A player who is eager and willing to take coaching and to learn from everyone at this level. Off the field I am a responsible player who puts his teammates first. I will look to establish myself and build relationships, and to help while giving back, representing whichever organization gives me a chance.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m a dedicated athlete who can rush the passer from any position on the defensive line. My passion for this game allows me to have a very strong motor throughout the entire game. I’ve been through many trials and tribulations in life but I always persevere and never give up. I’ll not only make plays on Sundays but impact others on and off the field with my leadership skills. I’ll be more than an athlete by giving back to the community I am fortunate to play in. If you bless me with an opportunity, I promise you won’t regret it I will give my all and even more.
