Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?

Coming into this season it was hard to believe we’d even be able to play. A goal of mine was to take the approach of one day at a time and not focus on the next day, game or week ahead. Focusing on one day at a time allowed me to work at my craft and perform at a higher level than I ever have before.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think that’s for them to say but I know I’m a hard worker on and off the field, I put my teammates before anything else and I’m always loyal to the guys around me. Being apart of a team has always been special to me and their respect has always been important to me.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I study myself, I watch how my hands finish on every snap and the steps I take when blocking. It’s imperative to be meticulous when it comes to long snapping because if you’re off by an inch in your form – then you’re off by a foot when the ball gets back to the punter. It’s important to watch each frame as slow as possible.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

There’s not many long snappers who ran pro style punt and had to block while in college. I’ve been in a pro style punt system for four of my college years. I’m also a 3 year starter in the SEC and have started in some of college football’s biggest moments – from the 2018 National Championship game to snapping the ball to Sarah Fuller when she became the first female kicker in Power 5 history to score a point.

Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?

I’m in Orlando doing my pro training with Adam Tanalski and 12 of the top specialists coming out in this years draft. We’re working hard on the field and in the gym every day to get ready for pro day and beyond.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I adapt quickly to my surroundings. When it comes to on the field, I take coaching points and learn efficiently. It doesn’t take being told twice to get something done. Off the field, I can get along and relate to any teammate, player, or coach.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?

If you want someone who has experience in a pro style punt system, has started 3 years in the best conference in college football and has played in college football’s most pressure-filled moments – then I’m your guy.
