What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for myself is past season was to have a winning season, play for my team and not for myself. I set a high goal for myself which was to win the conference championship. I didn’t accomplish that goal of winning conference, but I made sure to go out and play for my team every game.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year for me was successful and I took advantage of my extra year to play with my team one more year. I made sure that I was going to have fun whenever I stepped out on the field and that was the best thing for me to do to perform better.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think they’d say I am the type of player that is a legit cornerback and that I mean business when it’s time to get on the field. Always one to cuts the switch on when it’s time to play.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I study film all the time during the week to prepare myself for every little thing that can happen on the field. The things that I focus on to improve my game is the point of attack.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I have played in different defenses coming from a Junior College to a University where I had a coaching change. I learned quickly and made sure that I could play Man or Zone. I’m very confident in my style of play.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to focus more on my broad jump and recovery everyday. Keeping my body healthy to preform tremendously.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities that will make me stand out is that I can play in any defensive system. I also can learn the playbook fast. Lead by example and being coachable.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To the NFL, CFL, USFL, etc. I would say that investing your time in me is a wise choice because you will get a hard worker. A determined player who is willing to use their great assets in any way to help a team. Don’t miss an opportunity on a really great athlete.
