Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals for my final college season was to reach at least 200 receiving yards and remain healthy through the entire season. Both of those goals were met this past season. 2 seasons ago, I played the season on a torn meniscus which limited my ability to play the way I wanted to play. I was able to stay healthy and have the best season of my career at the FBS level.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates see me as a very hard worker who takes pride in doing the little things right. I believe that doing the little things right will always help me reach my bigger goals. My coaches and teammates will never have to worry about me not doing the right things and know that I will give maximum effort on everything that I do.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

To improve my game, the things that I look for is what coverages and fronts the defense likes to play in. Knowing what to expect before the game even starts helps me slow the game down and read the defenses better in order for me to make plays.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The thing that separates me from other prospects at the tight end position is that I am a long snapper as well. A tight end that excels in long snapping can give me more value to a team that has tight end and long snapping needs. I enjoy special teams and I am training hard to improve my tight end skills and long snapping skills. My size and ability to make contested catches separates me from other tight end prospects.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am going to be training with the strength staff at my school, University of Louisiana-Monroe. I’m preparing to do both tight end and long snapping at the pro day to show my versatility to scouts.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths that I have are persistence through adversity. I never get too high or too low. No matter what the outcome of a play or a game is I know that I need to lead and help others around me stay the course and keep working towards the end goal.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You are getting two positions from me. I am working extremely hard to improve both tight end and long snapping. I will work just as hard as anyone else to improve myself each and every chance that I get. Whatever opportunity a team gives me, I will give my 100% all into it and show that I can compete with the best.
