Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My personal goals are set around increasing my speed, quickness, vertical, route running and strength every season. Outside of team training i encourage teammates to work along side me in achieving these. Another goal is to win it all. Goals push you to be better than who you are and when goals are not met you only have to work harder.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that i am a hard worker on and off the field. Joking and having fun is good for building connections with your team but also being serious when it’s time to be.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film i study a variety of things such as my timing on making cuts, my release based on their coverage, and times i should play aggressive or quick. When studying film on opponents i look for their tendencies, speed, quickness, and hand fighting. Also i look for tells in their coverage such as stance, distance, and positioning.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my passion for football and my passion to win. There is a way to beat the man across from you every play whether it be physically or mentally. My greatest asset is my ability to explosively change directions and accelerate.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Football is a game of split second decisions and explosiveness. I plan to work hard towards my jump/ speed training. My ball skills and also endurance is key.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
One of my biggest strengths is my competitiveness. Whether it’s between another team or my own its heart breaking to settle for number 2. But that doesn’t stop me from helping out myself as well as my team to become the best they can be for the upcoming season.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My whole life it has been a dream to play for as long as i can. Having an opportunity is more than my words can express. I will work through what ever it takes to prove thats where i belong!
