Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Nathan: Physical, Explosive, and Tough.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Nathan: This offseason, I have been working on becoming a better athlete overall. In addition to pushing my limits in the weight room and on the field, I have been focusing on further improving my hips, overall speed, and first step off the line in order to become a more dynamic player.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Nathan: I would say that I admire a player like Khalil Mack because he can play both defensive end and linebacker.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Nathan: I focus on opponents’ tendencies, how the offensive line comes off the ball, different situations and what plays are being called and executed, along with any weaknesses that an opponent might have.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Nathan: I have a high motor as well as a quick get off speed when the ball is snapped. My goal when I step onto the field is to make plays. I also am a very versatile player.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Nathan: My versatility and athleticism allow me to play different positions on the field. I’m a role model in my community and have never been involved in any disciplinary issues off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Nathan: I was an Inside Linebacker that was converted to a Defensive End at the end of my sophomore year. I feel as though I have a lot to learn and have not yet played my best football. I also am a very hard worker and will always give you 100%.
