Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
MJ: Aggressive, smart, and my size.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
MJ: Train harder than the next guy that’s in my position who is trying to make it just like I am!
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
MJ: Maybe Josh Norman, I like how he doesn’t let WR push him around and he going to get his no matter what!
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
MJ: I focus on how the WR is coming off the ball when it’s not coming to him or if it is coming to him. How is his blocking if they running his way. What is his favorite move coming off the ball if he is man up.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
MJ: My ability to move from different positions with my size being 6’2 215 you don’t find many cornerbacks like that and also can be a return guy on kick return and punt return!
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
MJ: Ability to represent the team the right way on and off the field. Give you everything I have in me on the field.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
MJ: If you’re looking for a guy to represent your team the right way you want on and off the field, I’m that guy. Football has given me so much in life and change my life and I’m willing to give back to people and show kids anybody can make it if you just believe in yourself and stay motivated to do it.
