Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Jason: Technician, dependable, aggressive.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Jason: I’m using this time to prepare for pro day as well as any professional opportunities by training at Ford Sports Performance in Bellevue, Washington ran by Tracy Ford. He’s preparing us with the best training in the Pacific Northwest from transforming our bodies to working on different techniques.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Jason: I would compare myself to a player like Sua Cravens because of the ability to play both in the box as a linebacker or as a safety.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Jason: When studying film, we focus on down and distance tendencies as well favorite situational play calls.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Jason: What separates me from other players at my position is my ability to fit different schemes whether I’m needed as a true safety or more so as a box player like an extra linebacker.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Jason: The abilities that I bring on the field is the ability to be a physical, smart, aggressive player with the ability to make a contribution on every special teams unit. What I can bring to a team from an off field standpoint is that I lead by example. I bring the same attitude each and every day, with the good times and the bad times I will always be the same determined person to find a way to get better.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Jason: I have the ability to play multiple positions and am able to do whatever is asked of me to make the team better, I will play and make an impact on each and every special teams unit, and will bring the same blue color mentality each and every day to bring home a super bowl/grey cup/a championship.
