Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
DeJuan: Explosive playmaker, smart team player, Passionate/tough.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
DeJuan: I was training at D1 Sports before I went to mini camp with the Arizona Rattlers. Since then, I am going to train with Koachk Brown, he has film of field work on facebook and I’m going to do a lifting program with my old high school coach as he pushes me really hard.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
DeJuan: Chris Johnson or Alex Collins.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
DeJuan: I look for my assignment and to see who I have or how I should follow my blocking. Then, I look for weaknesses in the defense.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
DeJuan: I’m a very hard worker. It doesn’t take me long to learn a teams’ system and fundamentals that I need to have for their offense.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
DeJuan: I will play wherever the team needs me I will do my best so I can help the team be successful.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
DeJuan: All I need is a shot to prove my worth. I promise I’m going to make the best of it.
