Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal this season was to become first team all conference which I accomplished. Also to install a relentless competitor mindset in the younger guys in the program.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
That I’m a humble but ruthless competitor who is willing to be coached up. A player that never gives up and who will always rise to the challenge. Most of all a passionate player who wants to win.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I look for the receiver’s tendencies based on their alignment. I look for patterns in the way routes are run vs press and off man coverage.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am a corner that can lock down the best receiver and can make tackles at the line of scrimmage. I’m also a quick learner.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
To build more flexibility while continuing to get faster.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Reliability and resilience are key attributes that I show day in and day out. Also leadership that encourages being in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a player that can help/impact the team’s success whether that’s on defense or on special teams. I have so much respect and love for the game I can’t help but to give it my all everytime I step foot on the field. Given the opportunity I WILL shock the world.
