What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In my final collegiate season one goal that I set was to come in and make an immediate impact not only in the D-Line room but as well as on the entire team and I believe I did. With me transferring from New Mexico State to Nicholls State. The Defensive line coach that recruited was “let go” from the program and with retrieving a new D-Line coach two months before the 2021 season with me handling the situation well. Finishing the 2021 season with 6 TFLs, 2 Sacks, 24 Tackles and 1 blocked field goal in my final season at NG.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage of this extra year to increase my chances of becoming a pro by enhancing my mental area of the game. I feel like the physical part of the game was never a problem, but using it to my strengths to make me a next level player and understanding the tedious nuances of the game was a problem before this year. More than any other year I watched more film than ever. Took my time to actually learn that teams ran certain plays of different personnel’s and just understanding what teams preferred in different down and distances and I honestly feel like that has taken my game to a different heights.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Coaches would definitely say that I’m a hard worker and that I’m dedicated. As for my teammates I believe they would say that I’m a personable person always there when they need me a leader by example. Also would say that I’m a hard worker as well and always the last one to leave the practice field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I focus to improve little things in my game like alignment to the running back and stance because that could be the difference in you making the play and also focus on the opponents stance and the personnel that they may be in. Also the O-lines pass protections. I watch for what down and distance it may be that they like to bring in certain players and when tight end is on or off the ball.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan to train would be me working with GLS and NXT training working on my speed and strength. A lot of lateral movement and to get as explosive as possible!
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths and abilities that I would bring to a team would be being a leader by example and a hard worker. Ready to learn more and use it to make myself better and the ones around me better and also just continuing to be a demonstration of how I dedicate myself to the game and holding myself to that standard everyday. Also being a leader In the community.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My pitch to the NFL and pro leagues would be that I just want to be a better version of myself everyday and give everything that I have and can to an organization. I’m hungry for more football and all I need is an opportunity to show why it’s no question why I should be on that stage.
