Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This season, my goal was to come back stronger than ever and show that I could repeat consistent great seasons despite my past injury. I also wanted to help my team get a post-season win while also making the All conference teams.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I am a leader that stays in the film room 24/7 LITERALLY, and work extremely hard to perfect my craft. They probably would say I study football too much especially my teammates.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

First I look at the instincts of the players. For instance with WR’s, I look at their top route trees for each player, their route combinations, what type of formations lead to deep shots, or what splits the WR’s have when running certain routes. I also look at the O-Line indicators for run and pass especially the tackles, while also looking at the QB mechanics and whether or not they look safeties off before finding their targets. These things help me to perform my best every week, and identify plays that’s coming before they even happen just from their alignments and formations.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The first thing that comes to my mind is my versatility. I could literally play most positions on the field and have tremendous film everywhere including SS/FS/CB/NB/ OLB/ Edge/and MLB. They could move me around anywhere that is necessary for a gameplan on any team, I’ll get the playbook down quickly and be able to contribute anywhere early no matter what. More things are my mentality, I practice and train like a pro every day whether it’s on or off the field, and I spent extra hours perfecting my craft because I cannot accept mediocrity. I also want to be a future Hall of Famer which motivates me to put in more work and hours grinding so that I don’t let my teammates down when big games occur, and so that I could be ready to make that big play when needed the most. I see myself as a playmaker because I find ways to make things happen despite the circumstances or adversity we face throughout a game. Lastly, I play with a GREAT PASSION.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to continue working out in South Florida and mainly conditioning along with lift and some field work but CONDITIONING is most important because the more plays I can play full speed without getting tired allows me to stand out more and make more plays consistently.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My leadership skills, my intelligence on the field, and ability to IQ things before they happen. I also would like to say my ball skills and ability to track the ball out the middle of the field. Lastly, my tenacious mentality on the field, I play with hunger because I am hungry and I have lots of things to prove, not only to others but to myself by proving myself right!

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

If you guys are looking for a player that is a dawg, serious about his craft, a great leader, and one that prepares hard every week to make sure the results are what’s expected. I’m your guy! I prepare hard every week, and I can step out to lay any roles that are necessary for the team as well as to win at all costs.
