Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal was to be a leader for the team on and off the field. I was lucky enough to be voted captain by my teammates and coaches which was an honor. As a team we fell short of the NCAA playoffs but I reached a personal goal of mine, being named All Conference.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Passionate, hardworking, and a leader by example. Someone who is willing to do anything for their teammates in order to find success.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
Going through film with the coaching staff, I was able to analyze my game and tweak the little things such as my alignment, carrying out my assignment, and finishing each play. Also, film gave me the ability to highlight our opponent’s weaknesses and attack those weaknesses on Saturdays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am very versatile and can play several positions which led to a lot of my success at RPI. I am extremely accountable and a quick learner which allowed my teammates and coaches to trust me being on the field for the majority of the game.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Continue to train at my local gym and Freak Strength (who have trained multiple NFL athletes) in North Jersey.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Leadership and a positive attitude. After playing football most of my life, I have never been on a team with more guys on the same page than my senior year at RPI as a captain.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Take a chance on me because I know physically and mentally I have what it takes to play football at the next level. I am truly committed to perfecting my craft and have persevered through situations that will translate to my hard work at the next level.
