Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The main goal I set was to finish my college career with a ring. I’ve never won one and that’s the one thing I’ve been missing. I’ve been All American, all state, all conference. I’ve done a lot of individual things before but I was never able to get that ring.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I’m a guy that practices how I play. I told my coaches that I live by the 5 P’s; Proper preparation preventative poor performance and my coaches can say that Is how I approached practice and games. Also they will say that I’m a guy that loves to compete. I’m the biggest competitor I know and my coaches can attest to that.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

Well it depends, if I’m watching game film I’m breaking down coverages, what teams run on certain down and distances, also I look for tails. Everyone has one. Individually I look at corners/ safeties tails as to whether or not they’re playing man or in some sort of zone. Looking at leverage, reading the DBs toes. If he’s flat footed or on the balls of his feet, also i look for where his eyes are.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me from other prospects is my ability to compete with anyone no matter what it is. I’ve had a chip on my shoulder for a while and Coming from JUCO it just got bigger and bigger.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plans to prepare for professional opportunities is to go back to Sac and go train with my trainer over at Playmakers elite, and to train with my field and strength coaches over at Big Routes. We have a plan for how we are going to attack the upcoming combine and field workouts that I’ve been invited too.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Integrity is one of the things that I’m going to bring to a team. I believe in doing the right thing all the time no matter if someone is watching me or not. Hard work is also something that I will bring to a team. All I know is how to work hard. I’m no stranger to it and I truly there’s not short cut to being the best or being great it comes through relentless hard work.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to any professional organization Or leagues interested in me is that, I’m going to give you everything I have from start to finish and then some. I’m not a guy that just likes playing football or loves playing football. Football is apart me and it has been for basically my entire life. Also I can almost guarantee you won’t find anyone that is as big as a competitor as I am. I’m down to bang it out with anyone at anytime.
