Name: Kevin Hurley Jr
School: McMurry
Position: WR/QB
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 190
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to be an All-Conference receiver and the leading receiver on my team after my first season at WR.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I am ultra-competitive and will do anything to make the team better. Nothing is more important to me than the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m watching my own film I tend to focus on the little things such as using my hands on my releases and my height when I’m coming out of a break. When I’m watching the opponents film, I focus on body language and tendencies. I want every edge I can get when it’s time to line up against them.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
You can put me anywhere on the field and I will work until I’m the best at that position and then continue to work until it’s untouchable. I am the type of athlete that will do anything you ask me to do without any questions. The team is the most important thing to me.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will be training twice a day to build strength and speed as well as gaining weight to become as dominant as possible. I also will be attending an All-Star game in Myrtle Beach on December 21st. I’m going to go to as many open tryouts and combines as possible to find the opportunity that I need.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Like I said earlier, I will be the hardest worker on the team my first day there. Loyalty and mental toughness are the most important things to me and I will do anything I can to not only make myself great, but to make the team great as well.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
If you take a chance on me I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed with the amount of work I will put in to being great. I can also guarantee extreme loyalty to not only my teammates but to the coaches as well. All I need is an opportunity.
