Name: Hayden Gibson
School: Dickinson State
Position: QB
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 225
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
We wanted to win our 5th consecutive conference championship and we ended up doing that. Personally, I wanted to be a great leader on and off the field. I wanted to be efficient on the field to help our team win.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m a competitor and I have a calming presence about me. They would also say I prepare as well as I can for every opponent.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I think I can improve on my pocket presence and my quickness to be able to get outside of the pocket to make some plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe I know a lot about the game of football. In my last couple of years of college, I had a lot of freedom to check plays at the line and I was in charge of the pass protection. I think that was a credit to my knowledge of the offense and what we were trying to get accomplished as a group.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am finishing school in the spring semester and plan on training on my own and with former teammates.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I believe I know how to lead a team and I know how to win. I love to compete and expand my knowledge on the game of football.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
If an opportunity is given, I’m going to come in with a positive attitude and I will be ready to get to work and compete.
