Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
To get 1,000 yards receiving, have no more than 3 drops for the whole year, win conference, and make a deep run in the playoffs.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smooth, Natural, Reliable.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
The scouts that I’ve talked to told me that they want me to get a little more explosive. So squats, lunges, and anything that will help me legs stronger and improve my fast-twitch muscle has been key for me during my workout sessions.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
First, I look at the tendencies of the whole secondary because I can play the slot as well. Then at practice, I will work on different releases and ways I can get open against how the DB’s will play me.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What separates me from other receivers would be my smooth and naturalness running routes and catching the football. I truly believe part of my destiny is to play football and dominate at the highest level. I’ve been playing this game since I was 3 years old, so I truly and genuinely have a love for the game.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
(On the field) my strengths are being able to get off the press, get open at anytime, run smooth and crisp routes, a gifted hands-catcher, lead by example, passionate, competitor, and simply can make plays when it’s crunch time.
(Off the field) I won’t be a negative distraction to the organization, ALWAYS positive, spreading good vibes and energy.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch would be if you bless me with the opportunity, you won’t be disappointed at all. My actions will ALWAYS speak louder than my words and I will give my Heart and Soul on the field for the organization every time I step out there.
