Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals headed into this season were to help lead the team by example, train to make sure I was one of the hardest Wide Receiver’s to check, and to win the National Championship.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
If I could describe my style of play in 3 words I would say physical, technical, and cerebral.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be working on speed mainly this offseason, some more route running techniques, and agility to prepare for post collegiate opportunities.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I focus on my triangle meaning the Safety, Linebacker, and the Corner on my side. I look for their tendencies in coverage give aways first. Then, I begin to watch their feet, their tendencies as in are they comfortable jamming, do they want to just trail, and how good are they at flipping their hips.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My hands, my physicality, and me just being a student of the game. I’m a very coachable player.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I bring good energy and vibe anywhere. I’m a guy that can motivate the team. I’m a catalyst, I have always had the ability to give a team a spark of energy when it is low. I’m a hard worker on and off the field and I’m a guy that pushes myself and my teammates to get better because there is always room for improvement.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
All I ask is for one opportunity, just one, and I will show you that you can count on me to play hard, make big plays, and my skills will only continue to improve. My best football has yet to be played.
