Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
Some of my goals going into my last season were to help the team win in any way, whenever I got in I gave it 100 percent every play, and I wanted to be an All-American Cornerback.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
If I had to decide my style in 3 words it will be, aggressive, feisty, and relentless. It’s going to be a tough battle regardless of who I face.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Training in the offseason is the most important type of training. I am going to train harder than ever. I like to train in the off season day and night because I know no one else is doing that.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I study film, I focus more on formations, learning all their formations. After learning the formations, I study the player’s moves. Once I perfect that, I have a good chance of having a great game.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
Something that separates me from other players are that I have a refuse to lose attitude and I compete at everything I do. Also, I like to play old school football to prove that I’m better than the man in front of me. I am not nice on the field at all, I am trying to destroy the player across from me. I play with a high motor, but it’s under control.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will say the strength I will bring is keeping a positive attitude in the locker room and around the community. I also am very athletic and can play multiple positions like gunner on punt, the deep guy on kick off and kick off return. I am very shifty and can jump with any Receiver. I also will compete in practice like no other to help my teammates compete back as we make each other better.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch to sell myself to the NFL or CFL is I am worth the the risk, don’t be afraid to take a shot at me. I am a competitor who has the refuse to lose mindset and I will be able to help the team out and many ways.
