Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals going into my last season of eligibility was to start for both punt and FG, earn a scholarship, and show how having an elite Snapper can impact special teams. I came into my last season ready to dominate and prove that I’m one of the best snappers in the country.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I am selfless and someone that everybody can trust/rely on. I am coachable and will do anything it takes to help the team win/improve. And even though I am a snapper I believe they see me as a leader.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on my steps and how quickly I get my head up after the snap. I emphasize getting my block so that there is no pressure for my punter and shield/personal protector behind me. And then I put importance on the impact I make running downfield taking my shot on the returner and forcing him into my teammates.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I love what I do, and I am never satisfied. I have great size and strength, and my nimbleness/athleticism for my size I feel is uncommon.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have been doing strength/conditioning training with Alex Johnson out of La Mesa in San Diego, California, and I snap with Nick Novak and his kickers/punters he trains with every week.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am an athletic snapper who is affective downfield. I am a great locker room guy and get along with all players and coaches on my team. I am selfless, I am coachable, I am confident, and I am hungry.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If there’s any snapper to take a chance on it’s me. With how good I’ve become at snapping over the years, I am only getting better. Im confident, and im ready. Playing in the NFL has been my only dream since I was a little kid, and nothing will stop me from making that dream become my reality.
