Conference Championship, playoff birth, All-Purpose leader in Conference, #1 Wide Receiver in Conference, top 10 Wide Receiver in nation, top 10 All-Purpose leader in nation.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Smart, shifty, aggressive.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Take minimal school units, dedicate all my time to making it to the next level, pre draft training in Southern California.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Coverages, body position, body language (fatigue), situational tendencies, matchups I can take advantage of, foot work of opponent.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
Blocking, from pancaking the biggest Linebackers to never letting a Defensive Back get in on a run play, I take pride in my aggressive and strategic blocking. Also, my ability to always make the first man miss is something I thrive on the field from by using my shiftyness or my strength.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My ability to learn things on the fly is something a professional team will love about me as I’m able to pick up plays and schemes very fast. Further, my ability to be a silent leader on the team is something people have usually looked up to as I’ve been a captain on all the teams I’ve played for.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
If you want a Wide Receiver who can just run routes, you don’t want me. If you want someone who is agile and can play at the next level both mentally and physically, then I’m your guy. I’m someone who will learn on the fly and bring it to the field immediately as well as effectively. I bring energy to teams as well as a world class respect to the game. My abilities are through the roof and teams will know that once they look past my stature, I play much bigger than I am.
