Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My main goal was to be first team all conference. I accomplished much more than that, getting national attention. I am extremely grateful for all the recognition and awards I received this past year.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m the type of person who never stops working to get better. I get my job done and expect the same out of my teammates.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus on steps and pad level. I cannot control how the person across from me plays, but I can control my own steps and position to ensure I’m best equipped to deal with whatever comes.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Work ethic. I started as a walk-on and had to work my way up. I kept my head down and put in all the work until I was one of the best in the country and I will do the same at the next level.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’m continuing lifting and working on my steps. I’m also working on center work in order to expand my ability to play every position on the offensive line.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My greatest strength is consistency. As I said earlier, I get my job done. I know what it takes and support my team well in that way.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
If you sign me, you will have a work horse who will always commit to being the best player he can be and will never quit or settle for less than the greatest.
