Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My personal goals:
-Be a true lockdown coverage corner: I gave up 0 touchdowns in man coverage this season.
-Develop my technical tool belt while still continuing to make plays
-Improve physicality to become a more well rounded football player

My mental goals:
– Never stop being a student of the game
– Learn from my mistakes and then be able to implement improved technique the next game

My team goal:
– 3rd straight conference championship.
-4th straight playoff appearance

Goals met

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

-I lead by my actions
-I make plays when my team needs it the most – 4 quarter!!!
-Once locked in on the WR, that man is taken out the game!
-Extremely competitive & passionate

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

-Observe down and distance EX: what plays do they like in specific situations such as 3rd downs?
-Formations and personnel -QB drop back
-Leverage and demeanor of WR: Press release moves, Break indicators, Physicality

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I can react and adapt to ANY receiver using a variety of techniques. After studying film, I still continue to learn about my receivers and make adjustments during the game. This is the reason I completely shutdown receivers or make game winning plays in the 4th quarter.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m training with Joe Don Reames at TNT Sports in South Carolina. We are focusing on physical development for pro day: gaining weight, improving linear and lateral spreed, flexibility, movement. I will also be spending many hours in the film room with my DB coach studying formations and route concepts to improve route recognition.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a player that’s committed to excellence and overcoming adversity both on and off the field with a resume to prove it.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I was a key factor in turning a losing program into a team with a continued championship legacy. Twice. I am a winner. And I will always continue to be.
