Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Going into my final year of collegiate football my main goal was to help my team win a conference title on the way to a national title.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I know my teammates and coaches would say I’m a guy who leads by example that being on and off the field and they would also say I’m one of the guys on the team who expected to make a big play to help my team win. A teammate who plays for all 11 players on the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
The main things I want to focus on is understanding my opponents top routes, studying the receivers go to techniques, observing Quarterback-Receiver connections, identifying pre snap cues, analyzing tendencies in different situations, and last but not least recognizing offensive formations and personnel Groupings.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me and the other pro prospects at my position I would say is work ethic in preparation for the games my attention to detail and my big play making ability.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan to prepare for professional opportunities is simply to train myself mentally as a pro, push myself beyond my limits as far as my training, critique myself to the highest extent in the weight room and on the field and support my fellow pro prospects.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Some strengths and abilities I’ll be able to bring to a team is my ability to lead and my ability to learn. As far as my skills I’m a smart aggressive footballer, who’s very competitive, something I feel all teams need.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My last final pitch would be that I am a fierce, hardworking defensive back prospect from an HBCU seeking an opportunity to showcase my skills at the professional level. With a relentless work ethic, strong leadership qualities and a competitive drive, I am primed to make a significant impact for your team.
