Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One goal that I set and accomplished was to be a successful leader. On the field I led by example and did my job whether it was to catch the ball every time it was thrown to me, running the right route, or completing my blocking assignment. This also included grading out really high for each of our games. Off the field I led by example in the weight room with my energy and how I attacked the lifts and encouraged everyone around me. I also helped out with various community service projects around the city. I also got the job done in the classroom and maintained a high GPA.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I am a reliable player that is able to do his job consistently at a high level on and off the field. They would also say that I have an amazing work ethic and bring great attitude and effort with everything that I do. My teammates would say that I am a great teammate on and off the field. That I bring people up and lead by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on what tendencies DBs and LBs have in certain situations. Hip angles, how fast they break, how handsy/physical they are, etc. I also look into what coverages they are likely to be in depending on what down and distance it is. This helps me know/identify what areas of the field will be open and where I need to get to. Also knowing the proper depths to break my routes off at, or knowing that I need to make a certain block for the play to progress, all helps improve me for when it comes to game time.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe understanding my job and being able to read the openings in a defense and get there on time is what separates me from other pro prospects in my position. I also pride myself in being a reliable receiver, which means executing my routes precisely, being where I am supposed to be on time and catching the ball. I also know how a defensive player thinks as I played both ways in the past.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’m currently offseason training with Physio Performance in Rapid City, Monday-Friday. I am training to increase my speed, explosiveness, agility, and strength when I go in for my sessions.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a player that brings everyone up around me. I’m super positive and have a great energy that I bring everyday. You will rarely catch me not smiling because I am blessed to be living this life. I am a great motivator and competitor and will push everyone around me to be their best self. I have integrity, am coachable, and have sound judgment.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I know I’m from a small school and the stats aren’t crazy by any means, but I am a great football player and a reliable Wide Receiver. I will be able to compete and prove myself to anyone who takes a chance with me, and I will earn my spot. I will be able to execute my job at a high level while bringing everyone around me up as well. I love this game and I want to be able to make a difference. Thank you for your consideration.
