Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
This season I wanted to reach the 1200 mark because I have already hit a thousand multiple times so knowing we only had 9 games, the Oline actually came to me with the goal. They take pride in it, if not as much as me, but more then me.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m tough, someone who won’t quit no matter what and always looking to make a play.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
What defenses and type of defenses front they run so I know my reads and what defensive tendencies they have. If a certain line backer likes to over commit or over flow, I just try to get a feel for what the defense is going to do so when I have to react, it’s almost natural because I’ve already seen it before.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am a versatile player and can create difficult looks or matchups by playing running back or lining up in the slot to even playing DB which in the right system can create a lot of problems for the opponent.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I’ll will be working with a trainer on speed and strength training to stay ready for any opportunities coming my way.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Being able to grasp offenses and defensive concepts quickly, also my versatility of being able to play multiple positions on the field. Also, just knowing the game of football not just playing it.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Coming from D3 I know it’s an uphill battle, but I’m ready to work and come in and make an impact and continue to prove that I can play this game at a high level.
