Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season? My goal this past season was to have an impact on my team and to help turn our program around. While our record didn’t reflect it we got better in all categories and played neck and neck with some really good teams in our league. I was also able to leave an impact on many of fellow teammates and help them better themselves both on and off the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

One thing my coaches and teammates would say about me is that I am a hard worker both on the field and in the weight room. They would also say that I love to compete on the field and in the weight room. Lastly, they would say that I have the ability to motivate and lead by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing I do when I study film is to study every player that will line up in front of me and find their strengths and weaknesses. From there I will look at the tendencies of an offense and try to find some giveaways in their stances, formations, and alignments. Lastly, I like to envision myself reacting to every play that I see on film.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects at my position is my mental and physical toughness. I also have the ability to play with quickness and violent hands, while also drawing on double and triple teams. Lastly, I have the ability to adapt and play in various defensive schemes.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I will be working out at a local sports academy to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I will also be working with one of my former teammates (Winston Craig) to perfect my game and prepare me for the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Off the field I help out in the community. On the field, I am versatile in my style of play as I can play with power and finesse. I am also both a one and two gap player and can play anything from a 4i to a 0. Lastly, I have the ability to draw double and triple teams from opposing offenses. As for off the field, I am heavily involved in the community. I love working with disadvantaged youths and helping them overcome adversity, turn their lives around, and better themselves in all walks of life.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

All I need is a chance to prove myself. I am a hard worker that can make an impact on an organization both on and off the field. I am not afraid to compete and I love pushing those around me to constantly better themselves. While I may be viewed as undersized, I have the heart, desire, and work ethic that will help me prove that I belong.
