Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
To be the best defensive linemen in the country at the NAIA level; achieved being in the top DL in certain defensive categories. Be a Captain of one of the best defensive line units in the country (Top 5 Unit groups in the country in Sacks and TFLS).
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
Lead by example. Consistent, Accountable, Student of the game, Play maker.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
Understanding the offenses tips and tendencies that can relate to my pre snap read. RB Alignment, Dwn and Distance tendencies, Individual break down of offensive linemen as far as what they are and aren’t good at, Pass Rush concepts, etc.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I am metrically and athletically blessed. My mindset and my consistency is one that will show up every day ready to do whatever it takes to do my job at the highest level.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Continued training with my Strength and Conditioning coach who has a program for guys at my program that are generating professional opportunities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am one the best football players on a team that comes to executing my technique on a play by play basis that then allows me to dominate my key read and make plays that impact the course of the game.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am JUCO Product that originally signed to the University of North Texas after my sophomore JUCO season due to academics I went Div2 Texas A&M Kingsville and Covid reasons brought me to an institution like OUAZ that allowed me to earn my degree and win conference championships on a powerhouse NAIA football program. I am a player that has the size, speed, and strength required to be successful at any level. An opportunity to showcase my talent and ability as well as sell my character is something that I believe a team and/or organization will find very interesting as a prospect.
