To give my all not just in the game, but in practice also. I had a ton of goals I wanted to achieve in my final collegiate season. I accomplished a few but just didn’t get opportunities to accomplish them all. We end up having one of our best seasons. I was able to lead in the receiving yards homecoming game with two catches for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I compete every day to make my teammates better. I am electric and a team player. I want to see everyone win. I was able to make plays on special teams to help with team success.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
The defense mainly focus on their coverages and the top defenders I would be facing. Studying ways to improve my success not just in game but practice also.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My explosiveness and awareness running full speed and being able to stop my momentum at any moment to make a defender miss. I am a student of the game of football. I know different ways I can help make separation from a defender.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Grow as a person and stay prepared for any opportunity to come my way. Find ways to get 1% better everyday. Rather that’s physically, mentally, or spiritually.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field my speed and awareness. My good attitude and motivation I try to manifest positive even through the negative. I believe no one is able to watch me man to man. I bring that tough humble mindset, not too much fun and games.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Most opportunities that were in my control I fulfilled on and off the field. I pray for an opportunity in the pro leagues. I promise I can be a helping piece and a playmaker wherever on the field. I have family, friends, coaches, that have seen me run fast at a young age that can tell you it’s exciting to see. It would be a blessing to continue playing the sport that developed who I am today.
