Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the many goals I had for this season was to make it to the playoffs. My other major goal I had was to be defensive player of the year in my conference.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would make me out to be a leader, hard worker , and someone that gives relentless effort no matter what. I pride myself heavily on leading by example for the ones around me so they may be motivated to be just as great or better than I was.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I look for small tendencies in an offense, whether it be in the stance of an offensive guard that gives something away or the position of a running back that may tell what run frame is probable to happen.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel I am very versatile and able to play at all linebacker positions on the field. My sideline to sideline speed/effort, plus not being stiff in my movement I feel is what will set me apart. I also feel my knowledge in playing both zone and man coverage is an advantage as I can recognize route patterns and play leverage in the field. Lastly, my ability to be involved in almost every play on the field is what will set me apart, showing my effort and ability to not be denied.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am not 100% decided on that yet. So far my interests are leaning toward facilities in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Texas.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My ability to lead by example will be my biggest stand out. I play with energy, up most confidence and controlled aggression.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

All I need is an opportunity. I don’t claim myself to be a combine guy that can perform in shorts and T-shirts. I am a true football player that can play in any defense scheme and be relied on to do my job.
