Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Goal 1: lead the conference in sacks Goal 2: Defensive player in conference Goal 3: Lead my teammates to the playoffs Although I personally didn’t meet all my goals, I had a personal record for sacks. Also set a school record for most wins in the conference play.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am a natural leader but an even better teammate. I bring my own energy through the program and can deliver. I lead by example and in the work I put and leave it all on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

To improve my game, I usually watch my bad plays first, critique my game. For example, there have been times where I could have a better get off on the ball. Or beating my opponent with a faster move so the quarterback doesn’t get the ball off.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My determination and passion for the game of football is what sets me apart from just another football player. I know what it’s like to have football taken away from me, it’s a privilege to play this game. Every second I’m granted the opportunity to step on the field, I leave everything out there.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been training daily, weekly, just working on my pro-day drills. I’m on a weight gain plan so I can get ready to equate and compete with professionals. I have also been working on my hip and ankle mobility, so I can bend the edge better.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My leadership is on and off the field, but I believe it starts in locker room before we even step on the field. I take part in reminding my teammates it’s on and to make sure they are ready for war!! The work you put on the field, the outcome you get, you can’t take any of that back that’s why you always have to strive for the best results! My personal abilities I’d say is my length on field, and passionate pass rush.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I have played football since I was 4 years old. Football is all I know and love. I know what it’s like to have to briefly walk away from it, but everything led me back here. Through all my accolades, and because of them, I strongly believe football is a game I was made to play! Not only is football my passion, it’s my outlet. When I play the game I feel on path and forget about everything else around me. Faith, family, football!
