Name: Curry Parham II
School: Tabor College
Position: Quarterback
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 260
Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
-Win another Conference Championship.
-Get myself as close as I could to the weight I was before my ACL surgery to be the best version I could be for my team.
-Be the best leader I could for my team.
-Try and make a deep run in playoffs.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Relentless, Smart, and Big.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be training with my trainer Ty Lee and QB coach TJ Jordan while I’m back home, so I can get into the best shape and preform the best and raise my play. Once I’m back at Tabor during the spring, we’ll still keep in contact and I’ll continue to follow their training plans.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
I usually look to see what tendencies they show from what fronts, coverages, what they like doing on certain downs and distances, and how certain players react and try to play. Anything to really give me a leg up on what they might try to do when we face them, so I know how we can exploit them.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I look at the game as if I’m the coach, knowing the times when my OC is calling a play to take a shot on or play it smart. I see myself as an extension of them.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Great leader, strong arm, dedicated worker, and I can be a runner if the play is called for me to be or not.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’m in a position now where I’ve played in 3 completely different offenses the past 8 years, so I will be able to come into any system and work hard to master that and give them the best version of myself that is possible and more. My ceiling still has so much room for me to improve.
