Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
As a senior, I wanted to be a leader, as well as a role model for the guys around me. I was elected as a game captain on numerous occasions throughout the season. An individual goal of mine was to be recognized as apart of the All-Conference team at the end of the year. Myself and ten other teammates were blessed to be selected as All-Conference players.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I was a guy that showed up to work everyday. I loved being around my guys and that they could always depend on me in times of adversity.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film, I try to pick out any weaknesses in the guy that’s going to line up across from me. Whether it be the defensive line, linebackers, or defensive backs.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My college coaches have done a great job developing me in all facets of being a tight end and I believe those skills will translate at the next level.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training back home in Jacksonville, FL to get ready for our Pro Day at Mercer. I also will be attending an All Star game in January to compete against other Pro prospects.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I believe that I have the ability to be a dominant blocker, reliable pass protector, and a mismatch at receiver. I am always eager to learn how to improve in all aspects of my life and pride myself on being the best teammate that I can be.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
All I need is one chance to prove myself to be a dynamic tight end that can do it all and loves the game of football.
