Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set for myself going into my final season were: make all conference, make all American team for naia, lead the team in tackles. I accomplished all but making the all American team for naia.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think my coaches and teammates would refer to me as being energetic, high football IQ, relentless, OKG, passionate, team player, hustler, heck of a ball player.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film of myself I look to correct any mistakes in technique and effort. When watching film of other teams I like to look for tendencies, formations, and players and what teams like to do with their best players and their worst. Because I blitz often I also like to analyze the offensive line and how well they block schemes and how they pass set for passes. I also like to analyze how many times a team will run the ball vs pass. I look for anything that can possibly give me an edge over my opponents. I also watch other players and learn what I can from them.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think what separates me from other people that play my position is my effort, size, speed, and knowledge of the game. Having played both sides of the ball all my life and even in college I think this has helped me pick up what teams like to do offensively.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My off-season training for pro opportunities is going to be weight lifting 4-5 times a week, with field work and speed training 4-5 times a week. I have an agent that will have me begin training soon so that training plan my change. I would like to improve my speed and strength as much as possible this off-season while maintaining fluidity.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My strengths; versatility, size, length, speed, physicality, football IQ, passion for the game, fast learner and able to excel at new things quickly. My ability to play multiple positions and excel at them all.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to professional teams would be: Im a DB/Ath with great size, speed, length, versatility, and physicality. I can cover in man to man coverage as well as in zone, blitz, show up and make an impact in the run game. I love to do my job and help my team win in anyway possible. Football iq is unmatched as well as my energy and passion for the game. I’m a stone cold hustler and I will not be out worked by anyone. Im a fast learner and able to pick things up quickly and excel at them. I play all special teams as well and love doing so.
