Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Personal goals I had for myself were making more plays and increasing my overall production. In my final season I accomplished 1st Team All GLVC DB and 1st Team All GLVC return specialists. I was 7th in the nation for yards per punt return (16.3).

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am a leader on and off the field and a team guy first, I will do whatever it takes to win. I think they would say I am a player that offers a lot, I can play any skill position on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I try to focus on the little things, for example my foot work when getting out of breaks or cutting. I also like to keep in mind the situation of the game, so down in distance. For example, if it’s 3rd and long, could I have played the sticks better? Did I give any ground? Things like that.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is my knowledge of the game. I used to play QB in high school and even started in 2019 at SBU, so my understanding of offensive schemes kinda gives me an idea of what an offense is going to run before they even snap the ball. Also my work ethic, I know I can always improve my game. I’ve always been overlooked so I know I have to work harder than everybody else.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve already been working on this, I just got a trainer set up. I would like to get faster and more explosive. Now I need to figure out some things when it comes to pro days. Also I want to take my diet more seriously.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths that can help a team are my ability to lead on and off the field, I love to get involved with the community. I am a guy that chooses to do the right thing even when nobody’s watching. On the field I can play any position.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You are going to get a guy that shows up everyday willing to do whatever it takes.  If a team wants me to be their superstar I can be that, if I need to be a practice player I can be that as well. I wanna win, at the end of the day being a part of a family that wants to win together means more than any personal accomplishment.
