Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal heading into my college season was to win the SEC Championship. Things didn’t turn out as planned as we had a few key injuries, so we weren’t able to accomplish what we set out to do.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Tough, Competitive, Fearless.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will train at Bommarito’s, with Quarterback Coach Ken Mastrole in Florida, and do everything I can to make sure I’m prepared for whatever opportunity presents itself.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I’m studying film of the upcoming opponent, I look at tendencies and what they like to do in certain parts of the game. I always start off with 3rd down, then all 1st and 2nd down plays. Then red zone, goal line, coming out, 2 minute, and then I will watch full games.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I come from a pro style system in college and have been under center for 5 years already, so I understand the concepts pro teams like to run and the verbiage that comes along with playing Quarterback in a pro style system.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strength is knowledge of the game and how I process information in a meeting and being able to duplicate it on the practice field or in a game. I am a competitive guy and don’t like to lose anything and as a Quarterback, I think that’s one of the top qualities they can have. Off the field, I am a very personable guy who truly cares for people and likes to do things in the community.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch would be that I might not be the tallest or the fastest, but I’m resilient and fearless while playing Quarterback. I’m a guy that a team can get behind and be a guy they want to play for.
