Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The main goal heading into the final season was ending on a National Title. My personal goals consisted of making all conference and playing the role as best as I could in the offense. Not being the starting back did not hold me back from being an impact in our offense and achieving my goals for the team.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I can have fun around the team but when work is needed to be done I lock in. I would say I am a selfless player who works hard and looks for what’s best for the team and always try to help in any way whether it’s special teams or offense. My coaches would consider me as a very smart high IQ player when it comes to situational football.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film at my position I like to ID the main fronts of the defense and start with the DL. I want to see tendencies on how they move and react and how they play their gap. I then progress to the LB’s I see if they flow hard and downhill so I can plan to play slow and hit a cutback when needed. I watch how their backers blitz and the intent they have while blitzing. If I sense any sort of fear I know who and where I can attack. Next I watch the safeties. I like to see how they react to run and if they come downhill hard so I know how to play angles in the next level.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me is my vision and patience to exploding through the hole. I try to pick my holes very cautiously and when I make a cut do it at 100% I don’t like to be indecisive and like to gain yards. My ability to pick up 4-5 yards a carry I would say is my strong suit. Not being afraid of contact and putting my shoulder down with great shoulder lean is what separates me from others.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I currently train personally. As an exercise science major who has been through plenty of strength and conditioning programs, I still use these exercises and techniques while training. I weight train 6 days per week and cardio 3 days within the week. I go to the field and train drills I’ve been doing throughout college as well.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Strengths and abilities I will bring to a team on the field would be a back who you can rely on. I am coachable and know how to gain yards and move forward. As I said before I’m decisive with my cuts and fall forward most of the time. I use the blocking scheme to my advantage and know where and when the hole is expected to open. You can also expect a playmaker. Although I love gaining 5 yards a carry over and over I can also be a threat in open space. Off the field you can expect a player who will give everything he’s got into learning the system. Staying involved within the scheme and game plan is what I work hard at. Scouting opponents, watching film, taking notes all are what you can expect from me off of the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I appreciate your guys time. If you take a shot on me you won’t regret it. Coming from a bigger D3 school and playing in big games like cortaca at Yankee stadium or MetLife has given me more confidence on top of what I’ve always had. The experience, reliability, knowledge, willingness to learn, and dedication to the game are what I bring to the table. You won’t regret taking this shot.
